TRIUMPH SPEED TRIPLE 1050 SE
Following on from the sucsess of the 2009 15 year anniversary model, Windy Corner are pleased to announce a fresh SE version of the Speed Triple. The 2010 version gets two-tone paint scheme of Tornado red with a crystal white centre stripe and black pinstripe. It also includes color matched fly screen and seat cowl as standard.
Aditional features include updated suspension i.e. modified internal components to both forks and rear suspension to improve damping. Combined with a 5% softer rear spring this model offers better rider comfort and reduced fork dive under heavy braking.
Avalibility is from April but due to the predicted high demand for this bike you will need to put a deposite down as soon as possible to secure yours
2010 FEATURES
Engine
The Speed Triple’s 1050cc, three cylinder engine, with its unmistakable character and sound, pumps out a great surge of bottom-end torque, massive mid-range punch and an impressive level of overall power. Peak power is 132PS (131bhp) at 9250rpm while peak torque of 105Nm (77ft.lbf) arrives at 7550rpm. Triumph’s Keihin ECU offers sophisticated mapping for quicker starting, cleaner running and fuel economic engine.
Wheels
Multi-spoke alloy wheels add to the Speed Triple’s streetfighter attitude.
Suspension
The Speed Triple’s rear-end has sharp, minimalist styling and features a new rear sub-frame, polished stainless steel heat shields and repositioned ball burnished aluminium pillion footrests to give the pillion rider more leg room. It also sports a clear-lens LED rear light.
Brakes
High-spec, twin Brembo radial front caliper four pad, four piston units, with a radial master cylinder, supply outstanding braking performance.
Handlebars
Magura tapered, anodised aluminium handlebars are a sharp addition to the Street Triple’s minimalist styling.
